The police are hosting free workshops on gangs, antisocial behaviour, good driving and scam schemes in an effort to educate the public.

A Police spokesman said: “The community class programme is designed to educate members of the public on different aspects of community policing, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the public’s confidence in the Bermuda Police Service.”

The events will be held from 6pm each Tuesday until December 18 at Hamilton Police Station on Victoria Street. They will end with light refreshments and a tour of the station.

The schedule is:

l Gang Targeting Unit: Gangs in Bermuda: signs, symbols and tips for parents, Tuesday, November 27.

l Community Action Group: How to address neighbourhood antisocial behaviour, Tuesday, December 4.

l Roads Policing Unit: Rules of the road and distracted driving, Tuesday, December 11.
