TN Tatem girls and Warwick Academy boys win middle school volleyball tournament

TN Tatem Middle School won the middle school girls volleyball tournament last week, joining Warwick Academy’s boys as victors.

Tatem started the tournament slowly losing it’s first match to Warwick Academy Two 15-8.

This seemed to ignite the Tatem team who would go on to win the remainder of their matches.

They defeated MSA 21-9 in the semi finals and then Somersfield Academy in 21-11 in the final.

Somersfield defeated Warwick Academy 21-10 in the other semi final.

Warwick Academy boys have completey dominated the middle school version of the sport in the last decade.

They defeated a spirited Dellwood team 21 -9 in the finals.

They had a much tougher time in the semi final edging past Warwick Academy Two 21-18. Dellwood reached the final after a 21-15 win over MSA
