Berkeley Institute debaters triumph in annual schools debate

On Saturday, November 17, the Berkeley Institute two teams competed in the Bermuda Junior Service League and Bermuda Debate Society's annual tournament.
The following schools: Saltus, Warwick Academy, Bermuda High School, Mount St Agnes, TN Tatem, Sandys Middle School had all entered teams.
After some gruelling debates it was The Berkeley Institute and Saltus Grammar School that went head to head in the finals.
The debate motions were: This house would make vaccinations mandatory and This house would make gym voluntary.
Berkeley Institute won the debate, the winning team is pictured.
