Kyme cruises to a 12th straight title

Former pro Nick Kyme collected his 12th consecutive mens title in the BSC IBM Squash Championships at the Devonshire courts on Saturday evening, breezing past second seed Thomas Sherratt.
Having disposed of Mel Caines in straight games in Fridays semi-finals, Kyme was equally dominant against Sherratt, winning 11-2, 11-6, 11-7.
Laura Robinson successfully defended her ladies crown with a three-game victory over Juliette Ferrari-McComb 11-7, 11-6, 11-7.
The veterans title went to Jan Brewer, who defeated Murray Brewer 11-5, 11-7, 8-11, 11-6, and Denise Kyme who beat Christine Barnes 11-5, 11-2, 11-8.
