Ascendant jumps 49c

Ascendant Group jumped 49 cents (4.26 percent) on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday, trading 3,000 shares to close at $11.99.

Butterfield Bank fell one cent (.80 percent), trading 703,613 shares to close at $1.24.

BF&M traded 500 shares to close at $16 with no change in share price.

Overall, the BSX closed at 1,055.93, down .48 points (.05 percent), trading 707,113 shares worth $915,960.12
