Bermuda National rose 20 percent, or $2, to close at $12 on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday. A total of 4,300 shares traded.

A total of 233,235 Butterfield Bank shares traded, ending unchanged at $1.24.

And 400 BF&M shares changed hands ending unchanged at $16.

Overall the BSX ended up 12.00, or 1.14 percent, at 1,067.92.
