Bermuda National jumps $2
Bermuda National Ltd jumped $2 (20 percent) on the Bermuda Stock Exchange last week, trading 4,300 shares to close at $12. The companys market capitalisation now stands at $84 million.
Bermuda Press Holdings fell 50 cents (5.88 percent), trading 100 shares to close at $8. KeyTech fell 25 cents (4.16 percent), trading 5,100 shares to close at $5.75, Butterfield Bank fell one cent (. 80 percent) trading 1,045,917 shares to close at $1.24 and Butterfield Preferred fell $1 (. 08 percent), trading 1,621 shares to close at $1,215.
Ascendant Group jumped 49 cents (4.26 percent) to close at $11.99, Watlington Waterworks rose 55 cents (3.94 percent) to close at $14.50 and BF&M traded 900 shares to close at $16 with no change in share price.
Overall, the BSX closed at 1,067.92, up 8.33 points (. 78 percent), trading 1,064,367 worth BD$1,502,767.69 and 5,987 US shares worth US$2,014,045.10.
