Man arrested after woman is stabbed
A 53-year-old Devonshire man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 43-year-old Pembroke woman.
Police attended the reported assault at 10.40pm on Tuesday, at a residence on Rocky Lane West in Hamilton Parish.
The victim was treated at King Edward VII Memorial for her injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.
Meanwhile, two motorists were slightly injured on Monday in a collision between their SUVs on Palmetto Road, Devonshire.
The 8.30am crash happened near Tynes Bay waste facility, as one vehicle travelled along the main road and the other exited Tynes Bay.
A Devonshire man, 78, and a Hamilton Parish man, 39, were treated at the hospital and released.
