Seniors from across the Island were treated a meal and some entertainment at CedarBridge Academy as part of an effort by students to give back to the community.
Some stayed on the premises to help clean up or serve lunch to seniors; others went out to offer assistance beautifying other schools.
Its all about encouraging people to stay positive through random acts of kindness, explained teacher Shoa Bean. For people to see this side of our students will give them a boost during the holiday season.
The initiative was part of the Chain Reaction programme, which has been embraced by the public school system.
CedarBridge started the Chain Reaction Club in January to foster a culture of kindness at the school.
