Murder squad detectives seek to contact man over killing

Police are urgently seeking to contact Wolde Gardner as they continue to investigate the murder of 20-year-old Malcolm Augustus.
A Police spokesman said this afternoon: “Mr Gardner is urged to make contact with detectives from the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1185 or on the main police number 295-0011.
“Anyone knowing how to contact Mr Gardner or knowing his whereabouts is also urged to make contact with the Police at the above numbers or the confidential Crimestoppers hotline on 800-8477.”
Mr Augustus was fatally shot in St George’s at around 12.05am on Christmas Day, a little over an hour after an altercation in the Wellington Road area. One man has been arrested in connection to the murder, but Police have said they believe one or two other men may have been involved.
Police did not elaborate on why they want to contact Mr Gardner.
