Dear Sir

I would like to publicly recognise the Bermuda National Debate Team who will be heading to Turkey later this month to participate in the Worlds School Debating Championships. This is the highest form of competition in the debating realm for high school students.

The team consist of four intelligent, and highly sophisticated teens who have been blessed with amazing oratorical ability. They are in good hands as they are being guided by a wonderful coach, a man whom I have great respect and admiration for, Gladstone Thompson. I am a former national debator who has worked alongside these very competent debators as well as their coach and what I can say is that the competition is fierce, and this is no easy task but knowing these individuals personally I can only say one thing and that is that I know is that our Island will be represented well. I wish them the best!
