BOOSTER SHOT
Risk. Do you find yourself shying away from risk?
What kinds of risks do you avoid? Taking risks is a part of life and learning to assess the risks that you face help you to learn, grow, and build a better life and a better future.
Whether it was learning to walk, ride a bike or playing a sport, there are always risks in our lives.
We were given risk as a way of measuring our learning process and to ensure that we approach all challenges with care, caution but also confidence in your ability to do these new things.
The key is building confidence — this is the magic elixir that has us looking forward. Take note of how you assess risk and how you use the confidence you have gained in life to properly measure that risk.
“Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can go.” (written by Eliot appearing in a book of poems by Harry Crosby, Transit of Venus, Black Sun Press, Paris: 1931) — TS Eliot
