Man accused of threatening to kill woman
A St Georges man charged with threatening to kill a woman was yesterday remanded into custody.
Detroy Smith, 27, denied one count of making threatening gestures by sending a picture of a hand holding a firearm to Mikaela Pearmans cell phone.
He was also charged with sending Ms Pearman a letter containing death threats.
Mr Smith was not required to enter a plea to that charge as it is indictable and must be heard by the Supreme Court.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded Mr Smith into custody. The matter is expected to return to the courts later this month for mention.
