Seven suspected impaired drivers arrested
A Paget man was arrested just after midnight on Sunday after officers saw him driving erratically.
A police spokesman said that officers were on mobile patrol on Spanish Point Road in Pembroke when they saw the vehicle.
The officers caused the car to stop and spoke with the driver, a 40-year-old Paget man, who appeared to be intoxicated, the spokesman said.
As a result, the Paget man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
The man was one of seven people arrested over the weekend on suspicion of impaired driving.
Officers also arrested 15 people for outstanding warrants and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the Island.
