Butterfield drops
Butterfield Bank closed down 3 cents, or 2.3 percent, to end at $1.27 as 1,000 shares changed hands.
Butterfield Preference shares also declined, by $15.00, or 1.2 percent, to close at $1,230 on a volume of 45 shares.
Overall the BSX closed down 1.29 percent, or 14.22 at 1,090.08.
The BSX Insurance Index closed at 1120.00, up 5.00, or 0.45 percent.
