Lawyers online hint
January 24, 2013
Dear Sir,
Dr Brown and Col Burch overstepped their authority and committed an illegal act by sneaking in to Bermuda four suspected terrorists who were locked up for seven years at the United States prison at Guantánamo. When the Governor and the public protested they tried to pass it off as humanitarian, further insulting our intelligence.
US lawyer, Sabin Willett, might like to read the 67-plus comments attached to his interview in The Royal Gazette online, to understand how locals really feel about Dr Browns leadership that he is so grateful for.
Bermuda lawyer, Richard Horseman has urged Premier Cannonier to pass legislation to right this wrong. I suggest he write the United States Congress to amend their legislation and admit Guantánamo inmates into the United States.
Because or our unemployment problem, our housing shortage, our crowded school can we afford to keep these illegal foreigners?
