Several Bermuda hotels are offering rooms for half price between now and May 7 as part of a “Pink Sale.”

The Department of Tourism announced yesterday that six hotels are participating in the programme, including both Fairmont Hotels, the Grotto Bay Hotel, Newstead Belmont Hills, Cambridge Beaches and Royal Palms.

A spokesman for the Department said: “Bermuda’s 50 percent off Pink Sale begins at the height of the island’s ‘Golf and Spa Season’, the perfect time for travellers to take advantage of the Island’s seven championship golf courses and abundant, world renowned spas.

“Bermuda offers idyllic weather for exploring the Island’s cultural and historic sites, such as the Royal Naval Dockyard, cosmopolitan City of Hamilton and the historic town of St George's, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.”

Rooms must be purchased before February 3, and the promotion requires a minimum three-night stay.
