Gasoline prices creep higher

Gasoline prices have crept up since the start of the new year, hitting drivers’ wallets for an extra four cents per litre since last month.

Customers paid slightly over $2.14 per litre for regular gasoline at the pumps in January up from $2.10 in December and up eight cents from January 2012.

Diesel prices fell two cents to $1.90 per litre in January, compared to December 2012.
