The Royal Gazette/BSX Index finished flat today, despite significant trading in four domestic-board companies.

Bermuda Aviation Services advanced one cent, or 0.3 percent, to $3.21, as 14,223 of its shares traded.

Butterfield Bank remained unchanged on $1.99 on the trading of 22,043 shares, while Argus Group Holdings Ltd also stayed put on $4 as 7,400 shares changed hands.

Ascendant Group Ltd remained on $6.15, as 4,400 shares were exchanged.

Some Government debt was also traded, with 30 of the 4.75 percent Bermuda dollar bonds being traded, as the price went up by $1, or one percent, to $106.

The Index closed on 1,390.96, down just 0.04 of a point. Volume was more than 51,000 shares, while turnover was just shy of $180,000.
