Financial services firm Deloitte is to host a careers night to encourage students to look at work in the field.

The firm said that it offered careers in the accounting, actuarial, consulting and advisory professions.

Katherine Cupidore, director of talent, said: “At Deloitte, we are committed to helping Bermuda students.

“Where students take their careers depends on where they start and this event is a great starting point for students to gain insight, ask questions build their networks and take to people who may become their future colleagues.”

The event — to be held at Taste 141 on Front Street on Monday, December 22 — will feature partners, managers and staff from several of Deloitte’s global offices.

It will feature food, drinks giveaways and the chance to win an iPad.

Deloitte’s summer intern programme DEEP and its scholarship programme will also be explained, while insider tips on the application process will also be highlighted.
