Uber Super Duper studio opens

New firm: Uber Super Duper creative director Sami Lill with event manager Selange Gitschner

A new creative studio has opened up Hamilton.

Uber Super Duper — in Front Street’s Somer’s Building — aims to work with both local and international clients.

Founder and creative director Sami Lill — who moved to the Island last year with Bermudian wife photographer Meredith Andrews — has notched up 18 years of experience working with top firms like electronics giant Sony, furniture chain Ikea, as well as with charitable foundations like environmental watchdogs Greenpeace and UN body Unicef.

Mr Lill said: “We work with specialised talent from Shanghai to Somerset and typically have a number of projects at any given time.

“Right now, we’re working two animations, an app in development, some murals, data visualisation and corporate communications.”

Mr Lill, originally from Scandinavia, added: “We work with most clients on a project basis so we don’t threaten any existing relationships with an agency.”

Island clients include Hamilton Re, RenaissanceRe, the National Museum of Bermuda, the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS), and the Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA).

Mr Lill will work with permanent creative partner Selange Gitschner, events manager and merchandiser and a range of freelance collaborators when required.
