Telecoms firm KeyTech dropped 35 cents (12.3 per cent) to $2.50 after 20,000 of its shares traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX.

And the Bank of Butterfield was up five cents (three per cent) to $1.70 after 19,945 of its shares changed hands.

Utilities firm Ascendant was also up five cents (one per cent) after 4,400 of its shares traded.

Insurance firm Argus held steady at $3.99 after 200 of its shares moved.

The Royal Gazette/BSX closed at 1,217.08, up 18.09 points (1.51 per cent).

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 6.40 points (0.40 per cent) on 1,593.10.
