Shares worth more than $2.3 million traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index last week.

Somers Ltd improved by 50 cents, or 3.8 per cent, to $13.50 after 700 traded.

Bank of Butterfield edged up 10 cents, or 0.3 per cent, to $34.10 after 61,717 shares were exchanged during the week.

Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd, the parent of The Royal Gazette, went down $3.51, or 41.2 per cent, $5 after 300 shares traded.

Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd was down 44 cents, or 18 per cent, at $2 after 3,000 were exchanged.

BF&M Ltd lost 40 cents, or 1.9 per cent, to finish at $20.60 after 4,200 shares were traded, while Ascendant Group Ltd was one cent lower, or 0.1 per cent, at $8.89 after 19,600 shares changed hands.

On the New York Stock Exchange, Bank of Butterfield ended the week at $34.33.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 1.95 points, or 0.09 per cent at 2,054.81.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 9.67 pints, or 0.51 per cent, at 1,902.37.
