Police investigate gunshots in Pembroke

Police were investigating after multiple reports of gunfire last night.

Residents in Central Pembroke called 911 after they heard shots at 9.40pm.

A police spokesman said “several” reports were made in the Curving Avenue, Rambling Lane, Middletown and Happy Valley areas.

He continued: “A firearms incident was declared and police have been actively canvassing the area to try to identify a scene.”

No one appeared to have been hurt and anyone with information was asked to contact officers on 295-0011.
