Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist struck a wall near Somerset Bridge in Sandys.
A police spokesman said the rider was treated in hospital and later arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
He added that the 54-year-old Warwick man was listed in a stable condition on a general ward this morning.
The single-vehicle crash happened while the rider was heading west on Middle Road, near the junction with Wreck Road, at about 9pm on Thursday.
Witnesses should contact police constable Mark Raposo at 295-0011.
