Government scholarships and awards were handed out to 49 students.

Education minister Diallo Rabain, who attended a ceremony to honour the students last Wednesday, said that the Government recognised “the importance of providing our people with opportunity”.

Mr Rabain said: “I am proud to say that our honourees represent some of the best and the brightest that Bermuda has to offer.”
