Phillip Correia was the category A winner at the FEI World Jumping Challenge at the National Equestrian Centre last weekend.

Correia had double clear rounds and a faster time for his overall score on his mount Emerson.

Krista Rabain, riding Helsinki Van de Heffinck, finished second with two clear rounds, but her final tally was just short with a fractionally slower overall time. In category B, Viki Steele with her mount, All in One, won two clear rounds, while Dale Rochester riding Carolina Gold came in second having dropped a couple of rails and a stop at one fence.

In Category C, Elizabeth Madeiros and her mount Mr Bentley was first with two clear rounds. Casey Truran riding De Le Vega was second.

Abby Bardgett with her mount Duke of Hazzards was third, as well as placing fourth with her other mount, New to the City. The third and final event of the competition gets under way on April 1.
