Senate leader Renee Ming, who also serves as shadow minister for municipalities, and youth activist Audley Quallo will be the speakers at this year’s PLP 53rd Founders’ Day and Drum Major Awards Luncheon.

The event will take part on Sunday, February 26 at The Bermuda College cafeteria beginning at 2.00pm.

“We invite members and the wider public to attend this luncheon where we will pay tribute to the founding members of the PLP and hear an address from senator Ming with remarks from Mr Quallo,” said a statement. “We will also present the recipients of this year’s Drum Major Awards.”

Regular tickets are priced at $50 with patron tickets costing $100. They are available from Alaska Hall, PLP party headquarters between 10am and 1pm or People’s Pharmacy. The option to purchase regular or patron tables of 10 is also available.
