Tanker with sick crewman en route to Bermuda
An oil tanker diverted to Bermuda yesterday to drop off a sick crew member.
A Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre spokesman said the Sea Magic would arrive in St George’s at 10pm last night. The 41-year-old crewman will be transferred to shore by pilot boat and on to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
The Maltese-flagged tanker is on its way to Houston in the United States from Ust-Luga in Russia.
