Dear Sir,

I sincerely hope that someone from the Department of Youth and Sport was at Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute last evening (October 2, 2018) to listen to Emily Nagel recounting her recent experience as part of the AzkoNobel team in the 2017-18 Volvo Ocean Race.

If they were, it is my earnest hope that when they went to work this morning, their priority would be an urgent review of the procedures that led them to decide that Emily was not eligible to be nominated by the Bermuda Sailing Association for the Female Athlete of the Year award last year.
