Man injured in road crash at night

By Owain Johnston-Barnes

A Sandys parish man was found injured on Somerset Road after what Police believe was a single vehicle accident.

Police responded to a report of an accident near Caesar's Pharmacy at around 1.15 a.m. on Monday.

A Police spokesman said: "Details about what occurred are unclear, however the victim, a 31-year-old man, was found with facial injuries. A motorcycle was located nearby."

The man was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.
