Man in critical condition after warehouse fall

A man was fighting for his life last night after falling six feet at a warehouse.
The 49-year-old sustained serious head injuries in what Police are treating as an industrial accident.
He is currently in intensive care where his condition was last night described as "unstable".
A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said the accident took place in Harvey Road, Paget, shortly before 4.50 p.m..
"It appears that the victim, a 49-year-old Smith's parish man, was working in the warehouse when he fell approximately six feet," said the spokesman.
"The man sustained head injuries and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he is currently in the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition.
"The Government Health and Safety Officer was informed. Inquiries into this incident are underway."
