Breaking News: Two men injured in shooting
Mikaela Ian Pearman
Two men are tonight being treated for gunshot wounds — the second shooting in two weeks.
Shots were fired in the Rubber Tree area of Curving Avenue, in Pembroke, at about 6 p.m. and two men were taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
One resident who heard the shots said: “I heard about five or six. First you heard two, then three shots went off.”
The area was cordoned off by Police and they refused to speak about the incident. It is understood that the hospital was put on lock down.
Last week a man was injured in a shooting on The Glebe Road.
