Shares up on BSX




Share values were up across the board on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.


Belco Holdings Ltd. saw its share price rise 50 cents (2.3 percent) to close at $22, with 445 shares traded.

Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. also increased 20 cents (3.4 percent) to finish on $6.10, as 800 shares changed hands.

Butterfield Bank was up five cents (0.3 percent) as well at $17.35, with 16,331 shares traded.

Argus Group Holdings Ltd. and BF&M Ltd. also traded 300 and 34 shares respectively.

The Index was up 19.81 points (0.39 percent) at 5,133.5, with 17,910 shares worth $302,523.85 changing hands throughout the day.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, dropped 0.15 percent to close on 1,069.34.
