Khano fires Revs to win

By Stephen Wright

New England Revolutio forward Khano Smith

A superb virtuoso strike by Khano Smith inspired New England Revolution to a 1-0 victory over FC Dallas at Pizza Hut Park last night.

The Bermuda international shrugged off a marker down the left wing before cutting inside and striking a right-foot drive into the far corner of the net on 72 minutes. It was Smith's first goal of the season.

FC Dallas searched for an equaliser but found Revs 'keeper Matt Reis in fine form.

Revs have played six, won three, drawn one and lost two in the MLS this campaign.
