Q--How do I send a letter to the editor.
A--Letters submitted for consideration must be accompanied by the full name, address and the daytime telephone number of the sender so they can be verified. Letters without these details will not be accepted. These details will be omitted on request. Faxed letters should be sent to 441-292-2498, e-mailed letters should be sent to letters@royalgazette.bm. Letters under pen names should not contain personal attacks. Letters should be no longer than 300 words. The Editor reserves the right to waive the word limit on letters deemed to be of particular public interest. Letters must be exclusive to The Royal Gazette.
Q--Can I search back issues of The Royal Gazette newspapers on the Internet? How far back do the archives go?
A-You may only search for articles that appeared on the web site. The online archives go back to December, 2001. For information about back issues of the print editions, call circulation at 441-295-5881.The Bermuda Public Library keeps microfilm of The Royal Gazette and all other Bermuda newspapers going back to 1784.
Q -- How can I find stories online?
A--You have two options. You can use the search button on the top of the right column. This will allow you to search by keyword or phrase, and by date. You can also use the Archive function on the left side navigation menu. This will allow you display all of the story for a certain day that appeared on the web site.
Q--Can I purchase or download copies of photos that appeared in The Royal Gazette articles?
A--You may purchase copies of photographs that appeared in The Royal Gazette paper or on the web site. We only sell photos that the Royal Gazette staff took. To order come to the front desk of the Royal Gazette to order. Currently 5x7 are $15 and 8x10 are $20. However, photos are not available in electronic format at this time.

Q -- Are obituaries available online?
A -Death notices, funeral notices and memoriam are listed under the Death and Funeral notices on the Menu on the left side. You can search Royal Gazette notices from August 1, 2008 going forward. Notices are free for view for 30 days after posting..
Q -- When does the web site update each day
A -- The web site updates each day at 10 AM Bermuda time, which is Atlantic Standard(Daylight) Time. Bermuda follows the same conventions as the US for daylight savings time. The Mid Ocean News Updates on Sunday at 10 AM.
Q -- How far back can I search Classified ads.
A -- Classified ads and display ads are only kept online for seven days.
