Money questionsDecember 7, 2011Dear Sir,I would like to ask the following of our local banks:Why can a cash withdrawal from an HSBC bank account made through a Bank of Butterfield ATM be debited within an hour of the transaction taking place, but a deposit wire transferred from a Bank of Butterfield account to an HSBC bank account or vice versa takes two working days? Also, can either bank explain why they can deduct monthly ‘invoiced charges’ without any authorisation to do so and without the client being able to access an invoice to see what the charges relate to?ROOM 222Lower Stag Rock
