Butterfield climbs 0.7% in New York

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged
Thirty shares of Butterfield Bank traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange today, as the bank remained unchanged on $56.50.
Butterfield was the only issuer to trade as The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 3,654.6.
For the week, the index was down 2.5 per cent, driven by falls in the prices of Butterfield (down 2.6 per cent), and Allshores (down 2.2 per cent).
Domestic share volume for the week was 3,207 shares, while turnover totalled $162,013.35.
Butterfield’s US-listed shares gained 41 cents, or 0.7 per cent, to close at $58.73 on the New York Stock Exchange, on relatively light volume of 100,505 shares.
