A 76-year-old woman pleaded not guilty yesterday to causing grievous bodily harm to a man by driving without due care and attention.

Shirley Trott, of Hamilton Parish, elected to have her case heard in Magistrates’ Court when she appeared before Magistrate Tyrone Chin.

The collision, in which Joshua DeFrias was the alleged victim, occurred on September 1 last year on Middle Road in Smith’s, the court was told.

Mr Chin adjourned the case to Monday, August 29 at 2.30pm and released Ms Trott on $2,000 bail until that time.
