Eric West took a surprise lead after the first round of the Bermuda Stroke Play Championships at Port Royal Golf Course yesterday. West carded an even-par 71 to lead defending champion Jarryd Dillas by two strokes.Johann Hunter is three strokes farther back on 76 while Spencer Wideman shot a 77.In the women’s field, Tariqah Walikraam had a round of 81 and is leading Katyna Rabain by three strokes.
