Active Covid-19 cases reduced to nine

A total of 881 clear coronavirus test results came back to the health ministry at the weekend.The news on Saturday meant the total number of confirmed cases remains at 167.There are nine active cases, all being monitored by public health officials. None are in hospital.A total of 149 people have recovered and the death toll remains at nine.On-island transmissions amounted to 85 with a known contact, and 19 cases were on-island transmissions with an unknown contact. Two of the cases are under investigation. A total of 61 cases came in from overseas.The average age of confirmed cases was 58 and the age range was from 18 to 101.Bermuda’s country status is still “sporadic cases” and the seven-day average of the real-time reproduction number is less than 1.
