Simons rejoins Bowring Marsh

Mark Simons has rejoined insurance broker Bowring Marsh in its financial and professional liability placement team in Bermuda, as a senior vice-president. Bowring Marsh is the international placement specialist of Marsh.Mr Simons is responsible for serving a predominantly Fortune 1,000 client base by negotiating financial and professional insurance coverage with Bermudian insurers. He rejoins Bowring Marsh from Ed Broking Bermuda, where he served as head of business development and production, liability division. He joined Ed in January this year. Prior to that, he spent nine years as a senior vice-president for Bowring Marsh Bermuda. He has more than 30 years of experience in the Bermuda insurance market to the role having served in various roles with Bowring (Bermuda), Aon Bermuda, Starr Excess Liability Insurance International, JLT Park, and HSBC Insurance Management (Bermuda). Mr Simons said: “Marsh’s superior broking platform and history of innovation, both globally and here in Bermuda, were key factors in my desire to return. I’m excited to be back and working to exceed the expectations of our clients.
