Carnegie Abbey from Rhodes Island led by Professional Scott Spence and amateurs Mark Horan; Joe Maston and Peter Parker extend their lead in the team competition to three shots in the Bermuda Goodwill yesterday having played their third round in perfect conditions at Port Royal.In the end Carnegie Abbey finished with a three under 68 taking them to 11 under par 210 overall going into the final round tomorrow at Belmont Hills.Lambton B led by Professional Conrad Riley and amateurs Michael Millman, Jim Gallagher and Ross Schofield surged into second place by themselves afer recording a six under gross at Belmont Hills.The Lambton B team are at eight-under 203 overall. The Bermuda Golf Association team of Scott Roy (Pro); Ian Page; Craig Christensen and Geoff Piggot played lights out at Belmont posting an eight-under 62m, which was good enough to jump a few places to third place on seven-under 204 overall.Meanwhile, National Golf Club of Canada-B team led by professional Adam Brown assisted by his members Al Riverso, Alex Karpuchin and Ed Kremblewski maintained their fine form and lead the field by six in the senior gross division.The National posted a four under 67 at Port Royal giving them a seven-under 205 overall. They finish their round at Belmont Hills today and unless the winds hit 90 knots they should be guaranteed a prize.Bellewood GC jumped into second after a four under gross at Belmont Hills putting them at one-under 210 overall.In the professional division Matthew Sita out of Nassau CC, B, NY posted 20 points at Mid Ocean, for a total of 51 overall, and has a norrow lead going into the last day.One shot back on 50 points overall is Andy Fisher out of The Country Club B who also had a great round at MOC with 19 points. Local Professionals from Port Royal, Dwayne Pearman, BGA, Scott Roy and Spring Brook Professional Tony Santillo are all at 49 points.
