Seeking Twain’s quoteJanuary 2, 2012Dear Sir,I was wondering if I could get some help with something through your newspaper. A long time ago when I was in Bermuda I read a quote in the introduction to a tourist book about Bermuda( I can’t remember the name or the author of this book). It said that Mark Twain called the seas of Bermuda a sort of “hysterical blue” in colour.I have been trying to track down this quote and have never been able to find it again - would you be able to point me in the right direction? Is this a real Mark Twain quote? Do you know where and when he said it?Any help you could give me with my search would be very gratefully receivedEMMA BROWNLondon, UKEditor’s Note: Anyone with information should e-mail it to letters[AT]royalgazette.bm or call 278-0169.
