A former director of the US Central Intelligence Agency will be speaking at Business Bermuda’s AGM this February.

James Woolsey, 16th CIA Director, will address the February 22 meeting at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess on this year’s theme, “The Global Web: Security through interconnectivity”.

“I am looking forward to speaking at the upcoming Business Bermuda Annual General Meeting,” said Mr Woolsey. “These are uncertain times with looming conflicts in key regions of the world. I’ll share my views of these challenges and offer my thoughts on the opportunity Bermuda has to help preserve the free flow of capital and contribute to global economic stability and certainty.”

Today, Mr Woolsey is chairman of Woolsey Partners LLC and a Venture Partner with Lux Capital Management.

Business Bermuda CEO Cheryl Packwood said: “Jim Woolsey is a man of tremendous insight, perspective and practical experience who will certainly offer a compelling look at the world and Bermuda’s role in it.”

The AGM is 12 to 3pm on February 22.
