Roy-Allan Burch (Swimming)
Roy-Allan Burch is the only swimmer to have qualified for the London Games with hopefuls Keira Aitken and Lisa Blackburn both missing out.
The 26-year-old insists he's in the best shape of his life as he looks to improve on his performance at the Beijing Olympics, where he was granted wildcard status.
Burch, who will swim the 50 metre freestyle, is already familiar with £242 million Aquatics Centre in London having competed at the British National Championships in March.
And he will certainly be looking to smash his national record in London although the odds will heavily stacked against him in reaching his event's final.
The Charlotte-based athlete should travel to London bristling with confidence, though, after winning gold in the 50 metre free at the recent Caribbean Island Swimming Championships in Aruba.
