PLP to host community meeting tonight
The Progressive Labour Party is to hold a public meeting aimed at strengthening the community.
Government Ministers and representatives from various helping agencies will speak tonight at the 7.30pm forum at Devonshire Recreation Club.
Families Minister Glenn Blakeney, Premier Paula Cox, Transport Minister Walter Roban and Public Works Minister Michael Weeks will attend The Village Dwellers Forum — Building a Stronger Community ... One Family At a Time.
Members of the Mirrors programme, Crimestoppers, The Family Centre and the Community Action Team will also be present.
