Polished opens new nail salons

Polished is the latest nail salon to open its doors in Bermuda, with two locations in the heart of Hamilton.The emphasis is on high quality express service and manicures at Polished Nail Bar inside the Gibbons Company department store on Reid and Church Streets.A more relaxing, spa-like service is offered at Polished Boutique on Reid Street, which has taken the space formerly occupied by Magic Moments.Asked about entering a market that could be getting somewhat saturated in Bermuda, a company spokesperson said: “Yes there are a lot of salons, spas etc, but it’s a law of physics, every vacuum yearns to be filled. Our product is an amalgamation of sensibilities that seeks to address a very specific need, in a very unique way, our technicians are very passionate about creating the most beautiful nails for our guests and above all making the service experience a very magical one.”Manicures start at $40 at Polished Nail Bar and long-lasting gel nail manicures are $60.At Polished Boutique manicures start at $40, and a luxury pedicure including a foot massage costs $100.
