Come on Bermuda!!
The United Bermuda Party have regained the power of our Island! My apologies, it was the One Bermuda Alliance that won the election yesterday; sometimes it's hard for me to differentiate between the two since there are so many familiar faces from the old UBP party.
This brings up an interesting point that image and association has a lot to do with how people will perceive you and trust you. They didn't get the vote under the name United Bermuda Party and they changed their name and a few faces and suddenly now have prospered into the forefront of the political arena. My name is Eron; my name can change any day, at any given time, but it won't change who I am and what I stand for; the same goes for the UBP, now known as the OBA. Nonetheless, they have won power of the government, and I do congratulate them on that and wish them the best in their efforts to restore our Island to prosperity.
The OBA have won the election, however the question as to if Bermuda as a whole have won is yet to be seen! It takes more than 36 members of parliament to change an island, it must be a concerted effort by every individual to make this Island a better place for all!
