PartnerRe completes acquisition of Presidio
PartnerRe has successfully completed the acquisition of California-based Presidio Reinsurance Group.
PartnerRe will pay $72 million for reinsurance carrier Presidios managing general agency and tangible book value.
The US specialty accident and health (re) insurer underwrites about $250 million worth of accident and health premiums.
It also writes medical treaty reinsurance, employer stop-loss insurance, and accident insurance and reinsurance.
PartnerRe announced the successful completion of the acquisition yesterday saying all regulatory approvals have been received for the deal.
